I own a Ruger 22/45 with a red dot. Then I shot a friend's Model 41 with a 2.5 lb. trigger that had been accurized. I shot a 100 on a timed/rapid-fire bullseye target the first string of timed fire that I shot. I usually shoot mid 90's timed indoors at 50ft or 25 yds with my Ruger. With the dot, it was a bit nose-heavy, but a beauty to shoot.

Robert, so what's the story on the 'Smith & Wesson Model 14, .22LR'? What's it worth if it's mismarked?

One after market mag, one correct mag with wrong serial, and the drum (dunno if they were serialed to the gun or not). Think its been refinished, but looks excellent.

Man...I would love to have a Luger. Probably more than I can afford right now though.

legion,
They're suprisingly affordable, edited - Z-man.
I don't know much about German cars but I've had a soft spot about their firearms for years.

The Luger does look refinished. The small parts that should have a gold tone (straw) to them are blued. Also the shaprness of the lines looks a bit rounded. Barrel colour looks right to me, but upon personal inspection we would see. Are all the numbers on the pistola matching?

The drum should be numbered to the gun, but at this late date don't hold your breath. The drum is probably worth almost what the gun is if refinished.
