Hardflex, please elaborate on this conspiracy to out Plame and then tell me how Armitage was the fall guy who skated while Libby got indicted and convicted of something unrelated.

I believe most WH press secretaries have their talking points and they are either ok'ed by the POTUS or WH CoS. Honestly, I don't recall any WH press secretary knowingly lying, though it probably has happened occasionally. Their job is to spin, spin, spin. On rare occasion we have a POTUS who's far better a communicator than his press sec., i.e. Reagan and Clinton. Obviously, Bush is not much of a communicator, McClellan really sucked, Snow was pretty good and Perino is mediocre at best. Bottom line is that you will almost always hate the messenger if you hate the message, aka president and his views. Even when I liked Bush, I though McClellan sucked. And I always hated Clinton, though I thought McCurry was a star. Now, I'm so irate with Bush that there's really nothing any press sec. can say or do that will get my attention.
