Not me but one of my best friends. Off of the dock up at the lake with a stick, piece of string, safety pin and a piece of cheese as bait.

My first wade fishing trip in Baffin Bay (South Texas) in the late 80's.

32 1/2" 10+ lbs Speckled Trout. Caught on 12lb test using 1/16th oz. leadhead and tout tail (artificial bait).

AND I ATE IT!!!! This fish would have won me a boat had I entered the STAR tournament by 2+ lbs. Once in a lifetime fish...i've been back dozens of times since then and haven't caught anything even close.

The Pond? That isn't fishing. You can catch a limit with a bare hook at that place. Anyway, I don't have time to take pictures of my catches. You have to throw them back or throw em in the cooler and get your line back in the water as fast as possible.

That really means I have only caught small fish.:D

Interseting story on that one...Walkin along the bank of the little stream and look down and see that spinner picked it up and since i was about to call it a day i decided to try the spinner...First cast out that little baby hit it...Firts brown trout I've caught out of the northern NM streams.

MT930...It is very obvious you know what your doing also...Note the Beer in the holster and the stoggie about to burn your lips!! Only added feature we can't see is the possibility of a big chew of RedMan in your cheek :D (thats how we do it down here!)

Might be bear repellent, but it sure looks like a long neck. I never even thought about bears as the only ones we got around here have rainbow stickers on their cars.

Thats not me But a very good friend. and yes it's bear spray. But alcohol is often involved. Alaska peninsula heres a couple more. Lots of Bears they are larger and less aggressive than the ones here in MT, they have more food options.

I don't mind it at all when my wife outfishes me, as long as she lands a 5 foot long tarpon off of Florida Keys, catch and release my motto........except for the wife!

My wife caught this 417 lbs! Marlin her first time out, off the coast of Guam.

She landed it two hours after hook-up and spent the whole time in the seat.

Nice fish...

It was 10+ ft long, and she had a great time.

After catching this sucker, she flew (as the pilot) 8 hours to Hawaii; so the fish didn't come home, it was donated to a local school.
