Yep, it was across the street from Bonita High School--where I would have gone if I stayed in La Verne.

Yes, that head-banging scene was unplanned. Dustin did that to keep himself from laughing and forcing a re-take. It's basically a blooper.

Also, when he drives to Berkeley from SF, he drives on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge. The upper deck heads into SF.

Yes.

And before that she acted in some movies.

I just have one thing to say to you younger guys that weren't there to see it the first time around........Plastics.
I saw the movie on TV when I was in 7th grade I think, had an impact on me even in that format.

There is another movie which has a scene featuring "The Graduate" on the big screen in a theater. The audience is laughing in unison to one of the most awkward scenes, a scene I was always quite absorbed in. I never thought people would laugh at such a scene, it was quite horrible of them, like a bunch of morons. I was kind of shocked by their reaction but it opened up the idea that seeing it in a theater in the late 1960's would have been a different experience.

They intervewed Mel recently about the making of the movie the "Producers" and he was asked about Ann. He was getting choked up and refused to answer questions about his wife. They had to be one of hollywoods greatest and enduring couples; a real love story.

As with many, I saw the Graduate in my late teens while stationed in San Francisco back in the 60's. Indeed Mrs. Robinson was the hottest woman on the screen in her role. Sure beat the hell out of Gidget!!!!

She was a great lady............

NO! If you were 17 years old in 1968 this girl filled that position.

That was (of course) prior to her political 'awakening'(?)
