The pressure is now on the Arabs to start kicking in capital to support the region or abandon any connection with monetarism and greater wealth for their own country in the future. The US is over spent on this and needs years to $ rebuild. Iran needs future strategic security after Bush walks. Iran needs negotiating power with Bush now. Bush has nothing better to do than foreign policy. For sure any domestic issues wouldn't go far.
