It is a P-51. The only Mustangs with a bubble canopy were the D models. A similar change happened with the P-47 Thunderbolts.

Have seen the Morgan before, at the downtown coffee place the local Porsche guys meet at.

Some pilots liked the P51 A,B, & C versions better. The statements that I have read is that they didn't slide as much in the air.
