Barris owned "The Pink Panther" when I worked for him back in the 80's. The car was a BARGE. The engine didn't run and didn't connect to a drive line even if it could. The steering was non-existent it had a straight axle with the king pins welded straight. It weighed at least two tons, we had to build a special trailer to move it from one venue to another because it was so low, long and heavy. Just moving that thing around was a four man job.
