The old auto ferry between San Pedro Ca and Terminal Island....
I loved going on this as a kid!

Now it's the Los Angeles Maritime Museum, and it's still cool to visit.
We used to watch a local attractions tv show called California's Gold. Kinda just fun local history and stuff to do. The host loved the Maritime Museum, and wouldn't you know it he walked up out of the parking lot the Sunday afternoon we were there. These are from the place: My kid who ended up as a Midshipman at Annapolis - go figure...  The Ferry Building/Museum and the host along with my wife, dad and two of my kids   He also managed to get us an E-Ticket tour of this old Fireboat #2 - vintage 1925
