I enjoy those fantasy paintings, just wish that one had a few more of the details correct. I found it a little distracting after a short while of viewing.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Yes, I should have said "painting", it still looks cool. However, it would have been better if it had been a P-40.

I too did a double take until the obvious jumped out. 4 blade, bobble canopy, sharp tail.

It's all good, still looks cool. I still have to make to the fighter sitting on the bottom off of Kihei, next trip I hope.

Actually shark mouth P-51s were much more common in the Korean conflict.

family stories say some of these guys were WWII pilots. Guy on the left flew navy fighters in Korea.
