With that wing design, I could see that it could. Although I have no personnel experience. It does kinda look like a C-130 and a U-2 got jiggly after an all night bender.

i worked them a few years ago at LA Center when I was controlling. Blocking 510-590, on a SAMP mission....taking radiation samples up and down the Californian coast, after the Japanese Nuclear meltdown.

I didn't realise they did the backwards/U-turn transmission back then. I thought it was just introduced with the AWD systems. Seems like a lot of needless weight and complexity for just rear-wheel drive.
