Friend of mine's father had one.
It was an Austin A-40 mechanically, built entirely in England. So was an import. 1200 cc at first, the 1500 cc later. |

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

https://youtu.be/enqNl7tdLR4 Here is a blast from the past. I had this song in a 45 back in the day. This reminds me of the story about "that" famous snow storm my dad told me. Although he and my mom were in Visalia at the time of the snowing. If I can get them to did it out, he had a picture of my mom on the hood of their Buick in the snow. Houses even look the same too.... ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My brother just picked up this Vanagon with a Ford Z-Tec conversion in Indianapolis and drove it back to NC. Zero rust since it was originally from NV and always garaged when it was relocated to Indiana.

But that's my favorite uncle who was a tail gunner in that plane during the war. Survived that, gone now

I don't get it. Why go to the expense - doesn't really seem to be justified by additional room or luxury...
