Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Tire exploded on the Honda. I was doing 70+ on the I5 going to San Diego. Managed to get over and changed the tire or what they call spares nowadays. Was near Camp Pendleton, dark as a well digging coal miner's ass. Left the lights on and flashers. Dead battery....kill me now. While waiting for AAA, the spare decided to go flat....now a I need a flat bed,,,,,120 minutes later I'm on the way to my destination.
New tire, battery and body damage. The CHP stopped, gave me some flares, the FD stopped and asked if I was OK.....Dozer the Wonder Dog was a little freaked but never made a peep. He was happy to see his mate when we arrived and all his new farm friends. Nobody died.....
