Yeah it's really nice. It belongs to Julie Clark who is one heck of a pilot.
She lives in the Cameron park Airport

She is genuinely a super nice person

One of Buicks rarest cars

A true story , this classic is the reason i ended up living in Sacramento for 10 years.
Purchased it in October 1987,a wreak sitting in a paddock for 11 years.
Yes a 1953 Buick Skylark 76x Convertible number 546,anniversary model first V8
etc, etc, shipped it back to NZ, 2 year restoration, then shipped it back to Sacramento
was 2nd in class at Buick Club of America, National.1991.
Friends thought i was mad, paying 5 figure for this really rough car.
An amazing thing the car had never run for 11 years, had no air cleaner, carby was fill of leaves, i fitted a new battery, vacuumed the carby, ran a can of new gas directly to the
carb, and that car fired and started , the seller could not believe it .
i Sold it 1995,it went back east.
One car i should never have sold.

Ahhhh, less than a minute. That must be some type of a record. Just as long as it's correct. Impressive nonetheless.

Very cool pictures of BW. They sure do not build things like that anymore. What was the back story on the "rules" regarding the tour? I'd be up for a bit of felonious-tour taking if given the chance.

Cheers
