Hmmm? Do you speak from personal knowledge of that car... or was that a feature on all the 240's?
I would guess by the patina, it is the latter.

Bellmore car show
Every Friday night, there is a car show in the parking lot of the Bellmore train station, some absolutely amazing hot rods.. and easily 400 or more cars.
Rat Rod  Radiator cap  Shifters  Very clean  Nova?  Subtle flames  Clean

This show was happening for years, then a few years ago, a squid on a crotch rocket did something stupid and killed someone... so the show was shut down..Its only recently did they start it up again
Really nice flames..pictures don't capture them well at least my photos dont
