Thats cool! For as many motorcycles there were around in the early days there is surprisingly little to be found around in the woods like there are abandoned cars. I dug this one up a while back out of a river bank. 1958 Jawa . also found a 71 triumph bonneville frame that was in pretty good condition and I sold it

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Surely, someone is all over it.

The day I stumbled upon Mr. Fagan he was sitting in this little project in Granite Falls and had three P-40s--so two P-38s wouldn't seem to be a stretch. His website shows he hasn't slowed much since then. Ethanol has been berry, berry good to him!

I stumbled into this by accident after noticing the tops of this distinctive prop above the horizon when driving down the road (eastern MN is pretty flat)...



Then was allowed to tag along on a tour for a few minutes.



This pre-dated affordable digital cameras so I ran promptly ran out of film
