After worrying for ages that my kids would scratch my 911 with their bikes and trikes, I found a simple yet effective solution using an old cardboard box....You can't see but I used a dollar store plastic clamp to secure it to the door handle.

As well as the 928 V8, it's also been widened, with a section added, to the extent that a new windshield had to be fabricated. Tres bucks (or DM).
