Didn't Mike and Frank (American Pickers) just do an episode where they found this bike in the possession of one of his friends ? The guy was certifiable with a spoonful of genius mixed in.

Mr. Potter had some great big brass ones; The second bike above (Widowmaker #7) had a 350 ci, 500 horse small block, velocity stacks, open headers and NO CLUTCH. A run consisted of him spinning the rear tire up to full speed, bumping the bike off the rear stand and holding on as the tire immediately turned to smoke when it hit the ground and the bike took off. Spinning the tire the entire 1/4 mile.

Bloody 'ell.
