In 1989 the SCCA began a program with Carrol Shelby to develop a new single make sports racing car to revive the Can-Am Series. The chassis was designed by Alan Burke and David Bruns, original body work was designed by the legendary Peter Brock and the transmission came from the Can-Am and Indy car gearbox shop of Pete and Chris Weismann. The car was built at Racefab Inc. and went into production in 1990.....................

This is chassis #14 of a total production of 74 cars.................

Is not DOHC but 2 OHC.

the heads ....... Porsche 911
Porsche has separate heads for every cylinder, you have to shorten the cam housing and cam to make them fit (and a lot of other stuff...).
there is a large piece of plate steel bolted to the engine. It is the method of relocating head studs for the heads being used.
It also strengthens the case. It is a lot of work though, when you use through bolts you drill through the oil passages!

If you’re the sort of person who has been poring over the photographs shot through the fence at Brunnchen corner on the Nurburgring, you might well be aware that Porsche has been experimenting with a number of divergent aerodynamic packages for the 992 GT3...................

By fitting a swan-neck rear wing, they were able to claw back 16 percent of what was looking like a 34 percent loss of downforce through downsizing the wing.

In other words, Porsche may well realise a downforce benefit of somewhere in the region of 16 percent by fitting the swan-neck.
