Pirelli K4 Reinforced Gravel Rally Tire - 205/65R15 - medium

Quote:
For the hardest and most severe surfaces the K is available in a “reinforced’’ version. The features of directionality and traction are combined with resistance and integrity thanks to its reinforced structure both in the tread zone and in the sidewalls, which are more resistant to lacerations and cuts.

1978 Porsche 911 SC Safari Build

Looks to be same car, and no custom mini pasha interior as I would understand it.

Quote:
Recaro SR3 seats are upholstered in black leatherette and red mini-pasha, a pattern carried throughout the interior on the door panels and rear side panels.
So "mini-pasha" refers to a basket-weave pattern in this case?

Interesting new method to ensure you bottom out your car early. I may have to try this.

Both links have some history included, first link is far more extensive.

Great Wheels: Porsche 911 Fuchs

Fuchs, by the way, means “fox” in German and is properly pronounced with a long o–say “fooks” whether plural or singular.
Heritage Design: Fuchs wheels
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2020/products/porsche-exclusive-manufaktur-911-targa-heritage-design-edition-992-eighth-generation-fuchs-wheel-21082.html

Quote:
The original design of the wheel, with connecting webs that taper to a point, was created in May 1965. However, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche modified the wheel in favour of a more harmonious appearance. The minutes of the meeting note the following: “Contrary to our proposal, Mr. Porsche Jr. had changed the shape of the five connecting webs between hub and rim for style and visual reasons. While our design was well adapted to the contours of the discontinued series-production vehicles, the shape developed by Mr. Porsche Jr. appears more harmonious on the new vehicle".

Hmmm. Let's see:Turbo flares and bumpers, RUF wheels, 911 mirrors.
I suspect a type 411 body grafted onto a 911 Turbo pan.
Cool.

Now before we allow feelings of outrage to permeate, we must admit that this is not an actual VIN-assigned Volkswagen Bus.
