Pictures from the last (as in there won't be another one) Vintage Truck magazine truck show.
  '57 GMC 150 with NAPCO 4wd conversion.  NAPCO modified a stock rear axle to make the front drive axle. It was a very good system that GM bought (or licensed) when it took 4wd production in house.  This owner arrived with this beautiful '58 Apache riding on the equally beautifully restored '58 2-ton truck in the background - pulling an equally beautifully restored '57 Apache on a trailer!  I posted this for Glen's benefit.    This is a very authentic Model T dump truck with a powered dump bed. That was pretty fancy for Model T dump trucks. Most of them had gravity beds.  The Model T engine, pretty much the way it would have been 90 years ago.

Henry Ford had factories in Germany, France, England, Soviet Union, Hungary and a few other countries before and during the second war period, starting in 1928.
GM owned Opel in Germany, by 1931, during and after the second world war as well.

First outing of the 2D and the only one with the flipper tail. By Sebring
they had a fixed spoiler tail. Story goes that the speeds on the banking at Daytona were high enough to overcome the hydraulics that kept the flipper in the high speed position...something they hadn't encountered with that tail section on the roadster 2 and 2C.

Yesterday, after visiting the local hardware store for a few spacers, came out and this was parked in front of me. '73 Chevy long bed.
 I waited for the guy to come out, paid him compliment, chatted for a while.
