I love the blue. Would really love one in red... Sadly the weather in OK makes that thing useless as a DD...

Seen in the Valley of Fire, Nevada State Park today. Don't know whether the vehicle in the transporter was the car being tested or a chase car, but it looks like a MBZ SUV to me. We also passed a Porsche Boxter Spyder with the clamshell back on our way out of the park with little rondels stickered on the car. Didn't get a photo. It was by itself without other cars or chase cars. Who knows, but an interesting little find in the desert.

That's the 1st Blue one I have seen as well. I have seen White, Black, Red & Silver.

The one thing that bothers me (besides the price) is that when I first read about the Spyders in Panorama, they said they were stripped out cars ie; No AC, No Radio, etc. The article then when on to say that those were "No Cost" options. But every one I have seen on a lot has a price for these NC options

Makes me think back when Hardtops were No Cost options on 996 Cabs. Dealers would bring in the cars with the hardtop, take the tops off before they sold the cars and then Sold the hardtops through their Parts Dept.
