By my count, it's 560 plugs for the pair. And an old timer told me that back in the day they were a buck a piece. What's that make a tune up in today's dollars???
It's 480 plugs. B-29 had 18 cyl R-3350 2 plugs per cyl. B-36 had $-4360 28 cyl 2 plugs per cyl. The math is 18x2x4 + 28x2x6 = 480. |

My info must be wrong - I understood that most of the B-29's also had the 28 cyl engines.
