I wracked my brain and could not come up with make of the car in the B&W pictures. After seeing the gold Airflow it came to me - ‘34 or ‘35 Chrysler Airstream.

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

I always thought the same thing, especially when they narrow the front axle. I've had probably 15 beetles and 1 Ghia back in my younger days and never had the desire to do that to any of them.

That doesn’t look like a fire lane. It looks like he took up multiple parking spaces, which is what you have to when you’re pulling a trailer. Dragging a trailer through a drive-through is odd, but why is it jackassery?
