Not exactly, but you do have to remove the intake, throttle body, windshield wipers and cowling to get to the back side of the engine. Not all that difficult, just time consuming.

Changing plugs and coils in a few days!!!

Looks like an old Oldsmobile Rocket engine. My H.S. girlfriend's brother had a '55 Olds convertible with a three speed on the floor and three - two barrel carbs. It sounded mean, but wasn't fast at all.
