I love this photo of Gilles. He was such a an iconic hero for me. Gilles raced every moment flat out! God Bless Gilles!

My jaw dropped the first time I saw this photo. Sadly I don't remember Gilles as I was only four years old when he died. I wonder if he had not been thrown from the car he may have faired better...

This bike was hanging on the wall at one of our local Fridays restaurants. Hutch with (Skyway Tuff II's?) Don't remember that stuff anymore. The sign in the background says: "BMX jump ahead beware of soft drop off"

TGIF caused a huge stir in the vintage BMX communities, mostly because the way they were being mounted, drilling through frames (including a PK Ripper) rims and running up the prices on eBay. Those look like Perigan wheels BTW, still very cool, grap it for me before they close I still need to build my Trick Star.
