I mean it is awesome from an engineering aspect but in the sign business I know that when a crane that big is involved we are going to be up high and dealing with big. Plain nerve racking in the OK wind.

In the pics I posted... for reference... the bridge towers are 300 feet tall..

The Manitowoc crawler with a blue boom.. is over 300 feet long, and the barge mounted cranes boom is easily 300 feet..

BTW the winds coming up the East or Hudson River between all the hi-rise buildings can be wicked

I'll try to get a good pic this week...

On my current job... there are three barge mounted heavy lifters.... four Manitowoc crawlers with big booms.... and a bunch of lil rough terrain groves.. 35 T or so...

My dad owns 3. The tallest is only 70ft. That is still too high for me.
These two are for sale....
