I was at the Cleveland Boat Show a few years back and climbed aboard a 51' Cigarette brand "1" Marauder boat that had THREE, supercharged big blocks, each putting out 1075 HP. The fuel lines for 3225 HP were big enough to stick your index finger inside of for all three motors. The galley/forward berth area looked like a whore house with all the thick shag carpet, and pillows everywhere........nothing a coupla blondes and a kilo of coke couldn't handle.

No, but that sounds frickin' awesome. This is Chino, CA's Planes of Fame show - I usually try to attend, or at least hang out outside the gate!

Sweet!! In 95-96 my father was helping me move into a rental in Corona. While off loading the sound on a distinct WW II twin engine sound was audible. Looking up we saw a winged aircraft high speed towards Lake Mathews. 15 minutes later it was headed back towards Chino. It was a cloudy day so it looked black from our vantage. It was one hell of a fast mover too. Took me 12-15 months of looking for it before Chino announced the had completed the restoration of the only Northrop Flying Wing. It must of been on one of the initial test flights. A rather cool father and son moment.

The Craziest Twin-Engined Racing Cars Were Made By A Bus Company
Quote:
Faegol is the name shared by two brothers, Frank and William, and a bus company.

Things get a little muddy here — Fageol seems to at the very least inspired a 1966 Indy car that used a pair of Porsche 911 engines.
