I was up in Austin, TX area this weekend giving a passenger car that I helped restore a shake down cruise on a local excursion train. Everything that shook loose on the interior was tightened down. Last weekend, there was a problem with the diesel generator that provides power to the car. An interesting air cooled 4 cylinder Deutz. Cleaning the sludge out of the fuel tank fixed that.
In this shot the locomotive has been cut off and taken around to the other end to pull us back to Cedar Park. It is about ready for revenue service now.

Pulled all rental car stickers off, put ones on of our own and drive local aggressive. Throws everyone off, sort of. Although it looks like every other rental car driving around. Lol

Did you move here or are you visiting? It looks like you're in Kona.

Did you remove the bar code stickers off the side windows? A couple other rental car giveaways are no license plate frame, and the front plate with big rubber bumpers.

Nope, not on Kona, we are on Maui for 3 weeks. The wife's "big" early birthday visit. Dive, dive, dive is our motto. Hitting the Aquarium today. Did the shark tank dive last visit. Very cool thing to do.

Funny you mentioned the plate frame. We talked about that this AM. All barcode stickers pulled and secured for turn in. After haveing a rental broken into on a previous visit, thought we would try different tactics. Thanks for the heads up on rubber bumper dealio. Those little buggers are coming off as soon as I get to my dive tool kit. Pic to follow a little later

That 944 belongs to my friend Dave, one of my other buddies printed/wrapped the 944 for Dave. You will see it leading the 944 Cup races at a track near you.
