Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

Are we gearing up for something? I remember seeing C-5's taking off every 30-90 minutes back in 90 when I lived in Chesapeake, VA.

Yep.. the 911 finally belongs to somebody else.
Although it had air conditioning and more power than my previous 911, I just never enjoyed it as much as I did the SC. I put only 26,000 miles on it in the 5 years I owned it. Most of that was in the first 3 years. In the final year, I think I put around 200 miles on it. A "Yay" moment because: At some point you figure out that you have a depreciating asset (liability) that brings you no joy, and you are happy to get rid of that liability. And because the funds can now be used on helicoptering!!
