Ahhh Ohhh I smell a dog fart. She is the most docile dog, not wound up at all. When I sit in a chair shes in my lap falling asleep. When I go to bed she climbs under the covers (a first for any dog I have known). She follows me around and is sleeping under my computer table right now. She comes when called. She is such a sweet loving little dog that just wants to please. I am so happy that I have taken her. I called the Lady yesterday who I got her from. The other dog named Skipper is at the Pet Adoption Agency in Canoga Park. He is a sweet dog as well. A bit standoffish until he gets to know you. He is 1 1/2 years old, neutered and generally has a good dispostion as well. Gets along with other cats and dogs. When the cat came in the yard Skipper stuck his nose right up the cats butt. The cat didn't seem to mind. These people I think really treated their animals well, maybe better than they treat themselves. Skipper has some kind of skin bacteria and is taking meds to fix it. Zoe is healthy, and is a strong little girl. She chases the tennis ball once and thats it. I have some big dog bisquits left over from my Airedale and have to break them into pieces to feed to Zoe. If I don't she burys them in the house, as in under the sofa.
However she does tend to piddle in the house...maybe when she gets upset about something??? We will see???? It could be that she can't hold much water, I just don't know yet. I have scolded her about it and she submits. I can't keep the back door open, as my gates have space that she can get under. That will be fixed by next week. So till then I have to let her out and watch her. She does her biz and then goes back into the house. Maybe we just have a communication problem? Pets tend to take on the traits of their owners. If a dog is friendly and docile you can bet the people have good hearts.

No unfortunately I am not going to adopt him. We just didn't have the chemistry that ZOE and I did. The first thing she did was run up to me, jump in my lap and lick my face. I am a sucker after all for a girls kiss.
Anybody out there interested in Skipper I will contact the lady again to get the information of where Skipper is. He is a young boy that needs a good home. He is a rather small dog, that has been loved and well treated. He is a bit standoffish at first from what I am told, but he warms up to people in a short time. The lady spent her last money on buying medication to treat his skin condition. So that tells you something right there.

So, you're saying you tend to piddle on the floor too?
![]() ![]() What has worked with me is to take the dog out immediately after they eat, drink or wake up as that is usually when they take a leak. Put them in the same place each time and use some word to indicate you want them to "piddle" if that's the word you use. Make a BIG friggin deal over them when they do their business. They'll connect the dots eventually (at least my dogs have) and then they begin to "get" that they're only supposed to "piddle" in that spot, whenthey're let out....so they'll go to the door you usually use to let them out. Its really training you as much as training them. Cute dogs guys....oh and yes, the "gay is strong" on this thread.

I think it is more of a communication problem. When I open the door and take her out she does her business and then goes back into the house.
At dinner time she is a beggar, and when I give her a Milk Bone she tends to take it and hide it. I think she just need to learn a new household system, she doesn't seem to have any real issues.
