They have the "Political trash can" which is a step just before a full ban. The moderator sets it up where you can only post in there if you act up - you can be in there indefinitely.

I really don't have any problems with any users. One man's disgusting bile is another man's humor.

If I were moderating (which I'd be lousy at) I don't know that I'd ban anyone short of those advocating murder, rape, the violent overthrow of our gov't, pedophilia or other such commonly recognized egregious behaviour.

I disagree with a lot of people here (and everwhere else) but, given that WI is at odds with a LOT of opinions here and irritates a LOT of posters here, he's articulate and CAN be thought provoking, no matter how much one might disagree with him. I'll miss him just like I'd miss that dirtbag......oops, won't mention any names here

But, not my call. As I said, all due respect - just my opinion.

Fastpat and Mulholland were both extremely intelligent. While incapable of hearing anyone but themselves, they were at least witty. This latest guy had all the wit of a baked potato. That, along with the need to appear in EVERY SINGLE THREAD gainsaying someone, and the resultant greatest post whoring in the history of the board, just add up to....nothing. Zero contribution whatsoever. Can't see why anyone would dispute this decision.

Hell, even on-ramp (doesn't count, he banned himself) was so out there, he was fun for the jaw-drop factor.

I completely support the moderators decisions and rules regarding trolls, although I must admit over the last 6 months I caught myself being drug down by trolls to their level a few of times.

I've made a concerted effort to keep that from happening and the ignore user botton helps big time. I've noticed is that ignoring them and not responding to them at all no matter how tempting usually sends them after someone else.
In fact I've seen them go after each other because no one else wanted to play their game.

That is fine for the street corner - the 1st amendment and all.

But a few bad posters can foul the mood and chase away many good ones.

You could see it coming a mile off - fair warning was given - and now, good riddance.

WI widebody didn't do or say anything to deserve getting banned.

I've done my best to ignore Mule and Flintstone and never called to have them banned, and they have been at it a far worse and for a much longer time - but from the far right, not the left.

Red UFO, Fastpat, WI widebody and a few more which escape me at the moment all banned because they offered view point that a few cry babies can't handle, shameful.

Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.
