Drove an old Fiat 124 down from Vail to Denver in the summer of 1985 with my brother. During one of the long downhill stretches, the brakes failed. Not a good experience. The car also ate alternators on almost every long trip. Without some quick downshifting, we'd have been toast...
Glad he made it out alive. And, assuming it was a Dino and not a 124, Jerry's got good taste even beyond Porsches! (Ferrari Dino V6 engine & all). |
