Never set foot in a starbucks or tasted any of their products, or any other trendy coffee. Never had a capichino or whatever it's called.
I like coffee black, no foam, no crap, no yuppie names or weird stuff, just black coffee. Been that way for 25 years. I get it from a server, not a barista. The donut shop near my house makes the best stuff I've ever tasted, and it's $1.25 for a large. Get one every morning on the way to work. I have no use for any of that fancy stuff. I know, that's not very impressive. I guess it's a good thing I'm not trying to impress anyone by being trendy. |

For home we order from http://www.cafemam.com/. If you call in the morning they will roast and ship your order the same day. We always get it two days later (Oregon to SoCal). The flavor and price is on-par with Peet's, and it is Fair Trade Organic too. Plus they have very helpful people if you talk to them or order via phone.

Excellent! I've previously checked two Wal-Marts near me and nada. That's a buck cheaper per pound than Amazon, but the convenience of auto scheduled, free shipping, and no sales tax from Amazon makes it closer to a push. Add in the pleasure of staying out of Wallymart altogether and ......

No kidding...I love N'awlins but avoid that stuff like Starbucks! Sammy, I would probably be "happy" with the donut shop coffee you refer too if there was one nearby, and they delivered a pot to my house at 5 am. But...you're still getting "ripped off", and there is a difference in coffee beans...I buy green beans at $5 lbs (from all around the world), and it's certainly not to be "trendy". I just love "good" plain black coffee, and if it wasn't for this thread...almost no one would even know what a trend follower I was
