I used to work at a retail autoparts store. You can choose your parts to show whatever margin you want. We had parts with single digit margins and parts with mid triple digit margins. Hell, even starters or alternators or water pumps had very different margins per part number.

What kind of crazy do you have to be before you are banned from ANY website?
This is a very interesting thing to me, to watch the "death spiral" of all the usual suspects. You can see it coming from a mile away. |

Actually, some will ban you if they don't like your first post--like if you ask a common newbie question. Some will ban you if you don't constantly kiss the sponsor's hind teat. Some will ban you for mentioning a competitor to the sponsor. Some will play favorites and ban people for violating forum rules, but not ban the people who taunted that person--who also broke forum rules.

It seems like Jack committed a "moderator/owner assisted suicide" here, if you know what I mean.

The rule on this forum is pretty simple. Basically it's "don't be a f*cktard". Obviously a very small few are capable of even meeting that simple and basic standard of behavior.

![]() Oh. . .Banned . . not, Snowman Band Well then... ![]() ![]() Seriously, I have never seen a harsher exit. Yep, mod-assisted suicide. (If I were in Wayne's shoes) I would delete those last threads, for various reasons.

No leave them. The way that people posted pictures of his house and cars was priceless. Jesus, what a loser.

I actually kept my head down on other forums and never frequented their OT sections. I pretty much only posted technical questions, and ignored the flamers. I just observed a lot of really crazy behavior.
The craziest forum I frequented was a paintball forum. It was full of 13-year-olds claiming they were 18-year-olds and that their paintball guns could shoot 25 paintballs a second. Of course, if you say, used physics to question some of the outlandish claims, you'd be hit with long tyrades of profanity and death threats. Bannings were an hourly occurence there.
