Add a few guns into the pics, and it looks not too dissimilar to another recent thread here!

The grits aint bad, but the hash browns are out of a frozen bag. Real hash browns are a wonder of nature.

Otherwise, am a huge fan of Americana and all things in flyover country, but am too afraid to open the link..

She should have stood at the end of the counter and "yelled in" her vows. "Stacked, covered, chunked and scattered" (You WH fans are probably doing a spit-take right now).

I went to a wedding like that in ranchland AZ. I wore a suit. People at the VFW (where the wedding took place) assumed I was the preacher, 'cause "ain't no one else woulda dressed like that".

Pazuzu,

We almost never wear suits here in AZ. Just not needed. No ties either, anytime... Thank God!

And think, you're not really even in AZ

I had lived in Tucson for 4 years, I was trying to be "respectful" to the bride. I knew she was a bit redneck, but I didn't expect full awn t-shirts at the hitchin' party.

Did you know that Waffle House doesn't serve pancakes?

I find that a lot more strange than the wedding.

It seems that rednecks only come in two varieties... the "thin and emaciated" and the "fat and rubbery" types...

I usually get the Tbone steak and hash browns when I am passing through Houston. There is alot of Waffle houses between Texas and Florida on the Interstate. Try this if and when you go to one. Put some ketchup on your hash browns and then put about 7-8 good squirts of Tabasco sauce on top of that, mix it all up and be in heaven.... bite of steak a bite of hash browns, a bite of steak a bite of hash browns well you get the idea...... Don't think I would get married there though even if I worked there...... might stop by there wasted out of my mind after the reception though
