Felt on the end? Gotta LOL. Lots of cue tips out there...none of them "felt".

Viper cars? A few years ago, Cindy & I were in the local MOPAR dealership...they had a Viper on the floor. Salesman: "Gee, don't you wish you could afford that?"

I just told him it looked like a komix book car to me, but that we walked in to buy a car for Cindy...yet he ignored her while BSing me. We walked...

Ooohhh...them's fightin' words.

My response(s)?

1) "Well being that I'm not a car salesman, chances are I would be able to afford it before you ever could."

2) "Yeah...it's too bad you couldn't afford a nice suit (hairpiece, plastic surgeon, dentist, etc.)."

3) "How ironic! That's exactly what your (mom, wife, sister) said when I stopped to pick her up on the corner last night! But I told her to shave her back or lower the price..."

Nah, it was a pretty clever trick actually. Most folks would feel the need to prove how much money they had. After you tell a car salesman that you have plenty of money to buy a viper how low do you think he'd be willing to go on the price of a minivan, suv, whatever.

That was a great line almost guaranteed to get financial info out of a prospective buyer. Yes, it was offensive, but most folks wouldn't walk because of it I think.

.......don't you wish I was buying a car from you today?

Paul....Viper......Paul.....Viper. It just didn't fit. My first thoght was midlife crisis, but that didn't really fit. The pool cue, life makes sense again.

Wayne, looking at the bottom of the page it seems that your targeted ads are working great. Looks like I can pick up a GTS with 18k for $33k on Ebay.

Yeah....

The car right.

Gentlemen, Paul is a lights out pocket billiards player. Have you ever heard of Two Tone Tony? Most have not, see Tony was always wearing these really nice Italian black slip on shoes with white tops. Hence the Two Tone label.

As I heard it, one night Paul took ALL of his money and then played Two Tone for his shoes. If you ask about Two Tone you will not find anybody old enough to recall him. If you ask about Tony Toes...then they will tell you that Tony Toes is a great One Pocket Player. Same Guy. No one talks about the night that Two Tone lost his shoes and became Tony Toes.

Sorry for busting you out Pauly D. I just want to be as good as you one day.

Shawn.

Oh and Guys above

Please recall the bus driver 911 RS story. Now that is a man that loved a car. Toss your financial abilities about if you need to...but to work years, save for one, then purchase and keep in a garage for years upon years.

That Guy is the heart and Soul of a car lover. Period.

Shawn. :)
