good restaurants/sushi in Pleasanton
I've got a buddy that's going to be in Pleasonton next week. He was talking about getting some sushi. I figured there should be someone who could give me the names of a good sushi place and other restaurants in the area for him to do on the company dime. He was also looking for a hooter, hahaha.

hop on bart and go into the city. My friend in the know says Koo is the cat's meow:
http://www.sushikoo.com/ iirc easy to get to - just take bart into SF, then get on the N-Judah. Get off near 5th street. I can ask which is the right station. |

Pleasanton is infested with mediocre overpriced Italian-American restaurants.
I would say that Kawa Sushi in Livermore (about 5 miles) is the best sushi in that area: http://www.kawasushi-inc.com/ There is a good dimsum place in Pleasanton at the Pleasanton / Dublin line. The Willow Tree. 6513 Regional St Dublin, CA 94568 (925) 828-9111 Have fun. George George |
