I love a Corona with Lime on a hot day, but my midwest upbringing comes out when I get some Olympia once in a while.
But, since I live in Colorado, I usually sample lots of micro-brews just for fun. I do really like the Sam Adams light for being flavorful but not too heavy on a hot day. |

Ahh yes...Oberon is the best! Unlike other beers, it tastes great at any temp.

Summer Beers:
Sierra Nevada Summerfest Lager Harpoon Summer Utility/sport beer: miller lite bottles, ice cold. Like drinking seltzer. Very refreshing and does not slow you down. Perfect for yardwork, bowling, fishing, softball etc. otherwise, I'm a big pale ale/IPA guy Victory Hop Devil Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Fresh Hop Ale and other SN offerings outside of the pine cone-tasting Torpedo IPA. Dogfish 60 Brooklyn IPA Wachusett Green Monsta etc

This is a great summer beer, with the real Weiheinstephan yeast that a weizen should be brewed with, Ayinger Brau-Weisse.

Thanks to a father's day gift from my in-laws, I just found my new favorite summer ale - Quilter's Irish Death. Very tough to describe it, but it's somewhere between a porter and an IPA, with color and flavor leaning towards the porter. Now I just need to find out how to get this in bulk, instead of at our local "By The Bottle" shop.

New Belgium Skinny Dip, though I haven't seen it yet this year.
![]() I'm also a fan of Pacifico, but I haven't tried Presidente, whatever that is.

Guiness. Same as my favourite beer on a cold winter night... (good for breakfast, too).

I wish I could find Piton in the US. Maybe it was being in St. Lucia, but man I thought it was good.
