I sold this motorcycle. That was an error.

Although I thought about selling it, I thankfully still have my Paul Smart and have picked up a few other bikes since then. As a wedding present to myself, my next bike will be a KTM Adventure 1190R.

Interesting this post got dug up. I had a 1998 FE. Recently picked up a 1992 SS. Its the only bike I have ever bought, sold, then bought again. Higgins is a Harley guy, and he has one. There really is something about them. Raw, snarling, unapologetic. Yet a cockpit that isn't hard on the bones. Great bikes.

LOL! I'm proud of my flames dammit! I sold that bike to a tall, thin Chinese girl that weighed about 120 lbs. It was her first bike. I tried to talk her out of it, not being a jerk, but just pointing out that a 900 Duc might not be the optimal first bike. She would have none of it. She had the full asking price in cash, and handed it to me saying, "I'm buying this bike", with rather impressive force. Got to wonder if she's a CEO somewhere....or dead.

I wish I had photos of all of them. Here are a couple.

This is a little Bronco that I just don't have time to fool with.

This is my little Sebring, built at a whole lotta loot into a very effective AHRMA vintage racer.

Well, hell. Somewhere in my files there's a shot of the 750 Sport I had and also one of my (huge) youngest son dwarfing the 851 Strada, first one into the country. Maybe one day I'll find those images. Or maybe not.

Those graphics are OEM as you wrote, and they are right for the year...for the CR model. On the parts fiche it is very difficult to tell which are the appropriate large graphics vs. the smaller ones you've got on your fairings. One clue is that the mini graphics come as single pieces, whereas the appropriate larger ones come as 2-piecers: there's one sticker that reads "SUPERSPORT/DESMODUE," and a separate sticker that reads "900." You must buy both decals and have your painter clearcoat them in place the proper formation/location. Your Ducati dealer can still order them from the warehouse in Italy.

Thanks for the info, always looking to learn...
silver frame and silver graphics were used on the 93 900 ss...black wheels as well.

I am not certain what color the 95 bikes had.

Here's my '96 SS/SP with the proper graphics.

I think someone got a set of CR or "half" of a 1997 set like you say, and did the best they could.
