Lovely sound...nothing like it.
I pride myself in identifying moto sound in the distance.
Easily a thumper....a HD...a 4 cylinder...and the occasional Ducati.
Great sounds, all.

Perhaps so...they're far enough back in history.
Didn't they have some intake issues, also?...as per the 750 Sport?
Yes, for sure, carbs were always a pain in the arse.

My 270 degree crankshaft 850 TRX equipped Super Tenere sounds like a Ducati.
Best I can do.

Thought I'd add an interesting note:
That 851 had an aluminum tank that Ducati wanted $4,200 to replace.
And in the owner's manual they warned in several places not to lean on it, etc.
The price of Ducati ownership.

Yup!

I took the girl for a rip today. Beautiful fall day. Love that bike.

I guess I had this silly notion of getting a Scrambler. Foolish thinking.
