Wow, that got to 4 pages fast. Ones that are not annoying would be a pretty short list, Gary Sinise, Dennis Hopper, Robert DeNiro, then I get sort of stuck

I'd vote for Howard Stern, but fortunately he has completely dissapeared.

This is a good point. In addition, the bulk of celebrities that I despise have achieved an overly-exposed, overly-saturated status. EVERYWHERE....ALL THE TIME!!! I know the name of the game is to earn as much as you can, get it while you can, and who the hell am I to judge?? But for cripe's sake, perhaps their management could encourage these so called "superstars" to step away from light!!!!! Be a bit more reclusive!! Go use one of their multi-million dollar Wyoming ranches, English castles, and/or Italian villas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, that's right, "management" needs to get paid too, and I guess in the end the paparazzi would just track them down
Never mind! Back to our regularly scheduled program!

We all know who the "bad" celebrities are. What about the good ones?

I'd like to nominate Kevin Bacon as a "good" celebrity. He's a good actor. He works hard. (Doesn't he average 3+ movies a year?) You never see him in the tabloids. IIRC, he's been married to the same woman for 20+ years.

Charlton Heston, Clint Eastwood, etc.

Both Bill Gates and Warren Buffet interest me. Gates in particular is quite a charitable guy.

I don't remember who it was, but I saw a celebrity interview where they basically stated that those in the public eye are there because they want the attention. Basically if you go to certain restraunts, clubs, etc you are guaranteed that the tabloids will be there to take pictures. Those that live a low-key life are rarely bothered. Not that it's a suprise that many celebrities are attention whores.

My vote goes to any personality that believes their celebrity allows them to spew hate disguised as commentary. Those celebrities that believe getting it right on the third take is a sign of intelligence, then presumes to tell me they have an original thought.
The last original thought some of these celebrities had was the joy they experienced from dumping in their pampers.
Some that come to mind:
Sean Penn: Sadam=good & America=bad interesting math?
Jeannine Garofalo: hates all things conservative, hate is rarely rational.
Bill Maher: believes all people of faith are stupid, schizophrenic and childish all 90+% of us.
Sean Hannity: Talking points? what talking points?
Keith Olbermann: countdown to Wapner, K Mart sucks.
Rosie O: Gay, fat and stupid are hard lifestyle choices. Ok, stupid isn't a choice.
The spew from the View: hens cackling
Great thinkers or idiot savants sans savant.
Most recently all the idiots piling on Sarah Palin.
Matt Damon "does she really believe dinosaurs were here 4000 years ago ?" a thinly veiled attack on religion. The same religion as Barry O. the candidate he supports.
Lindsay Lohan who's opinion and assistance was even rejected by Barry O.
All the late night talkers who forget that this common sense Governor has an 85% job approval rating which requires the approval of a large percentage all Alaska residents both liberal and conservative. Barry O, John Mc and Joe B. collectively have a job approval rating of 9%. Perhaps common sense is underrated and not that common.
