Obviously the STI is all wheel drive. Is it pretty simple to turn the car in a rear wheel drive?

I don't think the traction control is working.

The Guy really knows the car!!!
Looks like big fun!!

Stock STi comes with cockpit adjustable power distribution F to R.

Edit: At least that's what I heard from STi driving friends. Some say the DCCD is more of a traction control/differential control device and the power dist. remains constant... also dependent on model year. I shouldn't listen to Scruby drivers anyway

Way cool! Thanks!

I agree that it was not shot in one take or one continuous "lap". But the editing & filmwork are fantastic.

Makes me want to go find a very big parking lot with my R32.

I need to watch it again now....

Obviously that was several runs cut together, he biffed the wall plenty hard, but the rear bumper cover was unmarked later in the video, among other things, like the video camera rigs on the car that appear and disappear at various points.

Also, they do say, 4 sets of tires, which I took to mean they burned 4 sets making the video

Impressive car control, I must say, like to take a ride with that dude

I remember gymkhana suspensions being an option on 70s to 80s Corvettes. I imagine, that is not what they had in mind.

even if there isn't an adjustment, i'm sure his team has the $ to convert it to rwd. they have done this on the EVO's that are in the drift scene.

Doesn't it appear to be roasting all 4 tires at some point in the video? If it is making 530 whp as claimed (totally believable), I imagine it would easily spin all 4. And yes, the STi does have adjustable front-rear bias. Being a race version, I'm sure the car in the video has a large degree of adjustment.
