Damn straight. I wish I still had my stingray, and my scrambler. You've probably seen the Cimarron. No more salt air adventures for that bad boy!

Most of the work took place INSIDE the big shop. He posted about his small shop build.

Most likely a fuel line issue, but since literally everything under the hood was fresh and new I can only assume that a defective line was the reason, since I had been daily driving without issue for a while now. The only reason I didn't take it to the track last weekend was because I hadn't installed the big swaybars and in date harnesses :(
Still sucks and a major bummer no matter how you look at it.

Scott Douglas 09-13-2021 05:57 PM

Real sorry to hear that. It looked like it was a nice car. Yes, it is a bummer. Hope it was insured.

Looks like a 'Before, after, and then after' opportunity.

Sorry in advance for no before pics but I installed a water softener yesterday, wow what a difference.
Didn't expect to notice much change, but after one shower it was obvious how hard our water was before.
Best $430 (total installed cost including salt) I've spent in a while.
Did I mention I'm a cheap SOB? :D

I hope you isolated your outdoor water supply. Soft water will kill your plants faster than someone peeing on your lawn...%^)

porsche930dude 09-15-2021 01:54 PM

also it will degrade your septic= tank if you run the regeneration water into it. We leave ours unplugged and do it manually every few months and run the hose out into the ditch by the road

So I walk up to my truck one day and the driver's side lens has fallen off the taillight. WTF? I order one and install it, two screws, two lights blubs in twist fittings. 5 minutes done.

A week later the passenger side lens falls off. GMFB! I order another one.
