Pruned my oriental pom pom topiary today. It was way overdue. I use a pair of razor sharp hand held hedge shears. Not very hard to do at all. I put a piece of shade cloth underneath to catch the clippings - which makes for a very quick and easy cleanup.

herr_oberst 02-10-2022 05:45 AM

Damnation, Zeke, that lathe is a beaut. Well done. Hats off. Great work.

Scott Douglas 02-10-2022 07:43 AM

You, of all people, don't need a kit. It's all done with the usual car polishing stuff. The final coat can be an acrylic or ceramic wipe on — wipe off.

DonDavis 02-10-2022 09:25 AM

This works really well.

I've found that a layer of clear coat (paint) keeps them from deteriorating back to crappy so fast.

I bought new ones on Amazon. $91.89. Install took 20 minutes. :D:D:D;)
