Maybe not THE best thing, but pretty close to the top of the best things about the change is being able to FIT INTO A PORSCHE. And buckle the belt!

Thanks again! I had a hard time with the "proud" initially because like many do, I considered the surgery I had a cop-out. But it's what it took for me. And like any diet, the surgery can be defeated. Once the weight comes off post-op, it's back to the same as everybody else, watching what goes in the old pie-hole. Guess I should come up for a new name for that, huh! :)

I'm really driving everybody around me crazy, what with the weight loss, and then the car, and the track stuff (if I only had a nickel for every "mid-life crisis?" comment I've entertained...). And now they are having to get used to my NATURAL hair color. Which, as it turns out, is pretty much WHITE.

Now that would make another good before/after. My sister was all, "You took off 20 years losing the weight, and you're putting on 30 years with that hair!" Oh well. I'd rather spend what I used to spend at the salon on my car endeavors, and that's exactly what I am doing. I am MUCH happier with my reconfigured priorities!

I love it!

We usually have 1 day/year here that we can waterski, golf and snowski all in the same day and in the same Town (Vernon, BC). I did the waterski and golf one morning and then just was too lazy to go put the ski in (lousy ski conditions of course), but it can be done.
