I'm really proud of the job my son did on my old 912. The only paint applied in this restoration was to the bumper.

Yes, it is the same car. Its rescue is pretty well documented on the 912bbs where I've been hanging out for the last half decade. The car has moved on to my brother and he and his son have been enjoying it. My son has moved out and is already wanting his own Porsche now that he has his own garage and is making good money.  This was his first experience with buffing out paint too. I think he did a pretty decent job of it.
