porsche4life, I recently rebuilt the calipers of my 944S, but before and after pictures wouldn't look that different. Outside of basic cleaning, I just replaced the rubber bits and reinstalled them.

I tried to get by with just cleaning, and tried about every chemical we had around.... Soaked them in solvent and scrubbed, scrubbed with an AL cleaning acid.... Carb cleaner... Brake cleaner...

Finally said eff it all and went and bought a bag of sand and went to town.....
