Is It Me Or Is Wal Mart Like The Star Wars Bar ?
Don't get me wrong I like Wal Mart, well sort of. With the economy in the tank We have been going there to save some money on every day needs. I have asked my wife to do the same, she really hates to shop there.
Is it me or does every one in there look pissed off and weird? It reminds me of the Bar scene in Star Wars. Please forgive me ! Maybe it's just here?

I don't believe they sell drinks (other than soda) at Wal Mart.
But other than that... yeah.

the town next me has one and I get depressed everytime I step foot in there. I usually get basic stuff like batteries, light bulbs etc, and vow to pay more and vow to go somewhere else the next time.

I used to go there once in a while for oil before I started to use Brad Penn. Yes, many of them are weird, now. They have no sense of customer serivce. It's like they created their own way of responding/customer servicing. I was pissed off twice recently.
Years ago I stopped by one in Oklohoma. It was much better. It was more like Costco here.

I thought WM was cool when they only sold American made stuff. I think that stopped even before Sam died. Anyway, if we had some solid figures on what WM has done to our balance of trade and thus, our economy, we would burn them down. Need to mention here all the small businesses they ran out and broke.
What kind of country allows this? Oh, a democracy. |

D**m near arrested in WM for trying to return a $13 coffee maker so I could get "a step up", gee, maybe $30????. The $13 one was pi**ing water all over the counter. (I Know I know). The return desk would not accept my sales slip due to the fact that it was past the 90 day return policy. (93 days) Granted, I fussed and probably did make a scene at the service counter, but I was prepared to spend MORE MONEY! Needless to say, expenditures at WM dropped instantly. Tar-chay has the same stuff and is way better to deal with.

We have a Target and a Wal Mart directly across the road from each other. Amazing , the different class of people, separated by only 200 yds.
Always liked Target. Clean stores. Great customer service.
