Pelican Rocks!
Just a quick shout-out to Pelican and in particular Jason - I called the other day regarding a replacement set of speed/reference sensors for my 944 (which has been ailing for months in my garage). I looked around this past weekend and was dismayed to not see those parts listed in Pelican's online catalog. However, Zim's (in Texas) had them for $109 - fully $100-$150 less than anyone else I could find.
Not to be deterred, I called Pelican on Monday and spoke with Jason who investigated and was able to not only get me suitable Bosch replacements (which were in stock), but he made a special effort to get those parts out into UPS THAT DAY so they'd be to me before Xmas (the UPS guy gets ground stuff to me from Pelican in one day since I'm close). Parts showed up yesterday and will be going on the car this afternoon. Bigtime thanks. Sometimes I'm willing to pay a little more for the "extra mile" stuff that Pelican has built its business on. You guys rule. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Here's hoping my 944 is back in action soon!

I have dealt with Jason enough that when he answers I recognize his voice. Heck of a great guy to deal with and has helped me out when I'm in a time crunch. It is refreshing to buy parts from a company where the people who answer the phone know what they are talking about!

Let's not forget everyone else. I get great service from everyone there. most recently my window seals were here the next day, I didn't even have to look them up. Judy definitely comes to mind.

Man, you guys are making me blush
![]() Seriously though, thanks for the kind words. I'm always happy when your projects get a little closer to completion (as if there is such a thing) and I do find a certain satisfaction knowing that you will be in a more reliable and more bad@$$ German vehicle with a little help from me. Anyways, I need to get back to work But I wanted to say thanks again and wish you guys the very happiest and safest of holiday seasons to you and your families.PS - I look forward to hearing from you guys in 2009
