Actually there is room for 11 planes at the terminal ramp. Sorry I'm a shameless know-it-all. I'm actually a controller in the tower at LGB. Not only will you fly into a no-hassle airport, but you'll have a fellow pelican safely guide your plane in.

Flying into LGB is the easy part - the hardest part is what you do once you're on the ground!

I used to take students there just to give them practice taxiing at a difficult airport where they really did need to be "heads up" and have their airport diagram with them, open and ready to use. It usually made an impression on the unprepared/disorganized and "encouraged" them not to repeat the mistakes.

Worth the trip - not kidding - stuff that you only see in museums or in pictures shows up every weekend. FANTASTIC!!!!

The jaded fellows who live in sunny southern CA sometimes forget to tell us out-of-towners about this weekly event.

Excellent idea Angela, thank you! My biggest issue though is time. I honestly don't have the time to come out, but moving silk screen in-house recently for both production and shirts designed for us, this show is critical for getting up to speed on anything I need to know in the industry. Will see what I can do on this front. Depends on how much I get done in the next 2 weeks.

doood, no advance warning and I even gave it half a thought to tell my friends to reschedule my birthday festivities so I could see you at Chez Henri.

I'm nothing, if not demanding.

I owe you a drink for the Chez Henri suggesting anyway. Let me know where and when on the 24th, though I may be flying back from the east coast that day as well.
